Labyrinth
Dedication & Blessing

As we celebrate this dedication and blessing of the Labyrinth, a gift to all who will come and walk it, enjoy its beauty, and care for it, we remember two people in particular: 

Betsy Schoenstadt, (1942 - 2015). It was Betsy’s dream that this community would have a place for walking meditation and she provided a generous estate gift that was added to by community members in her honor, specifically for building a labyrinth. 

Lloyd Lowrey, (1946 - 2018) Lloyd was particularly attuned to the sacredness and beauty of the land. A portion of his estate, along with gifts given in his honor, were dedicated to the purposes of building an outdoor spiritual sanctuary. This helped to build the labyrinth and will continue to help in developing outdoor worship opportunities.
