Welcome to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd!
Everyone needs a place. We hope you find yours here. We are a part of the Jesus movement of the 21st century.
On Sundays, we gather to worship. Some of us are early risers and worship at 8 a.m. Morning Eucharist. At 9, families with young children gather in the parish hall for a movement friendly short worship service. Coffee hour and play time follow. At 10 a.m. we offer worship, music, homily, nursery care and a multi-age children’s program, called Dig In!. Coffee hour follows.
Work with us to help the hungry and homeless in Salinas and the broader community. Every Sunday, we offer and bless food that is distributed through the Monterey County Food Bank. Every other Thursday we cook and eat lunch with the homeless at 1st United Methodist on Lincoln Ave., Salinas.
Beginning in the Fall, our Centering Prayer: Christian Meditation group meets monthly and the Pastor’s Bible Study/Book Group meets weekly. Our tweens/teens meet monthly for service and fellowship. Our preschool excels at growing great kids.
Our Capital Campaign for safety, water, and freedom for ministry is in process – you can join in by going here! And our Annual Campaign supports our mission and ministry year round. Give online or by calling 484-2153.
We are located in the beautiful oaks of Corral De Tierra. Find us here.
