Yellow Family News

Week of February 20

Dear Yellow Family Parents,

It was so precious to see the excitement in the air all day, knowing that daddies and special guests were coming to lunch.  Daddies and special guest enjoyed a song, a puzzle, gift and fresh squeezed lemonade from their sweetheart and all had a good time.

We had a busy and fun week; the children drew pictures to mail to a friend in the Blue family.  Look in your mail box for a letter for your child from the one of the children in Ms. Jennifer’s class.   The children had a lot of fun singing, “Pop, pop, pop the bubbles” as they blew and popped bubbles outside.   The children have been busy expanding their buildings.  They are getting taller each day.  We went on a shape scavenger hunt.  Some children discovered that books can be square or rectangles and that cups can be round like a circle.  We also surprised Ms. Nikki with birthday party.   All the children decorated a crown for her, which she gracefully wore.   Thank you to Jason and his mom, Cindy, for making the yummy cupcakes for the party.

I am looking forward to seeing you on Friday for your Parent/Teacher conferences.   They are held at the Church site and Ms. Tina will be available to watch your child while you are attending your conference.
