Week of May 21
The big news this week was the snail circus! The children are fascinated by the way the snails pile up on each other to make a tall tower and perform amazing feats on the high wire holding on upside down! The group has really enjoyed learning about this animal hand on and up close. The group made some fantastic drawings of our snail friends and you can see them on the bulletin board.
We will be celebrating our summer birthdays this week; all children who have a summer birthday will have the opportunity to decorate a crown.
After lunch we will sing Happy Birthday with the “Crazy Cow”, and the school will provide a sherbet cup as a treat, yum!
Our end of the year Circle Of Friends Celebration is drawing near.
The date is the last day of school, Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00am.
It will take place in our classroom on the big rug. The children will sing a couple of songs for the parents, and I will be giving them a memory book to take home. There is no afternoon enrichment this day and it is also minimum day.
If you have not yet returned your library book please do so, library is now closed for the school year.
