Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Dear Families,
I can’t thank you enough for the enormous support you have given to Good Shepherd Preschool. The event was phenomenal. The chairs, Lesley Varney, Tawni Gott, and Nanette Murphy just did an amazing job with a cohort of preschool parent volunteers! All of us at the preschool honestly can’t thank you enough. I personally was so overwhelmed. Thank you for digging so deep and working so hard to make it possible for us to meet our budgetary needs.
The Fun!Raiser accountant, Jaime Nolan is busily in putting expenses to finalize the amount. It takes some time as there are always little things outstanding so be patient!
Warmly, Sandy

Chapel Corner Our lesson this week will be Jesus’ last meal with his special friends. After we tell the story we too are going to share bread and grape juice together. This will not be a sacrament, but simply a way of coming closer to the story. When we return after the break we will celebrate the resurrection. I wish everyone a very blessed Easter! Chaplain Michelle
Blessings for a wonderful Easter!

Parent/Teacher conferences are upon us. I do hope that if at all possible both parents can attend. It is a great experience for everyone. Childcare should be available.
Chapel Update:
I know it seems early to be telling our “Palm Sunday” story. But, we need to get all of our important Lent stories in before our school break the week before Easter. This week we will be talking about Jesus’ arrival intoJerusalemand how so many people were eager to welcome Him as their king. We will wave palms too and sing some great songs. Maybe if you ask you will get a performance at home! Peace, Chaplain Michelle
All conferences will be held at the church site. There will be signs letting you know which room your conference will be in. Thank you, Sandy

Spring/Easter Celebrations
Tuesday/Thursday & 5 day Yellow family Class: The Spring Celebration is similar to the Jesus’ Birthday Celebration except that all the children will bring their own lunch and eat prior to the celebration. Each class will have a few special songs or finger-play to sing. We begin at 12:15 for the church site classes and 12:30 for the Grange Site class. The celebration is very short but meaningful so make sure you are here a little early. We will sing to a traditional melody as the children come up one by one and receive a flower. When we are finished the children will have Easter/spring type cookies and strawberries that you have provided. Talk to your child’s teacher to find out where their little celebration will be held. Your child will need to bring his/her own lunch and the classes will have lunch prior to the celebration.
Monday, Wednesday , Friday and 5 day PreK Blue Family Class: The Spring Celebration is typically done outside. If it rains plans will change, of course! We will begin right at 12:15 for the church site and 12:30 for the Grange Site. Please be a little early, you don’t want to miss anything. The children will sing some songs and receive a flower. When they are finished the children may have some Easter/spring type cookies and strawberries for refreshments.
Your child will need to bring his/her own lunch and the classes will have lunch prior to the celebration.
Chapel Corner Our last few chapel weeks have been especially great! First of all, the children have developed so much since school started, and we are having some great discussions. Also, we have been hearing stories of Jesus’ life and learning how much He loved and helped all kinds of people in His ministry. This week’s story will be another as such…Jesus and Zacchaeus. See you at the Fun!Raiser! Peace, Chaplain Michelle
