Week of May 21

We have been working hard this week on our paper plate ladybugs. We learned about shapes during Spanish time. The last Spanish class is this Wednesday, May 23rd. Miss Laura has told me she will put an envelope on the sign in table with the fees that are due for each family. We really enjoyed the police officer dress-up. The children were handing out tickets and even painted a sign for the jailhouse. We even had a jailbird–a crow that was hanging out by the jail. Thank you to Miss Lois for being our special reader on Friday.

THIS Monday, May 21st we will have a Switch-a-Roo Day! All the children from the Grange will spend the day at the church site and all the children from the church site will spend the day at the Grange! It will be a lot of fun.  Drop off and pick up will be at the CHURCH site that day.  We will transport the children who stay for afternoon enrichment back to Ms. Lois. Any questions please feel free to email me at jenlbabcock@yahoo.com or call 676-3741.

We will continue studying ladybugs by exploring where they live and how they help the garden. We will add police dogs (stuffed) and car seats to extend our dramatic play area. We will make veggie pizza for snack!

Please turn in library books!
