Ministry Teams

“And now, Father, send us out to do the work you have given us to do, to love and serve you as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord.” 

STEWARDSHIP   Everything we have is gift from God. This team works year round to increase understanding and practice of stewardship of the environment, relationships and money. The Annual Finance Campaign, Eco-Faith Fairs, and Planned Giving Workshops, are some ways that the team encourages the practice of stewardship.  2009 Chairs are Tim Knapp and Gretchen Cardinale.  Contact:  lostshaker@pacbell.net

FINANCE   This Team keeps parish finances in good order and helps the Treasurer with her work. 2009 Co-Chairs are Brian Merrill and Terry O’Connor,  Contact: brian.merrill@yahoo.com

YOUTH/EDUCATION   Guided by the desire to experience the direct, life-changing presence of God, this team helps guide the spiritual formation of children and youth.  Desiree Brown is the parish youth leader.  Contact: desire.brown@gmail.com

BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS    Keeping the church, parish hall, preschool, and grounds in excellent shape, this team works hard year round! 2009 Chair for buildings and grounds is Michael Luder. Contact: mluder@comcast.net   The 2009 Chair for gardens is Gerrie Mejia. Contact: jmejia@mbay.net    
WELCOMING MINISTRY TEAM   We make sure visitors to the parish and newcomers are well taken care of and made part of the parish as soon as possible.  2009 Chair is Anne Albano. Contact: AAlbano@carmelfoundation.org 
ADULT EDUCATION    This team creates opportunities, through Lenten studies, weekly spirituality groups, Bible studies, for parishioners and seekers to learn and practice Life with and in God.  For more information, contact The Rev. Linda Campbell at revlinda@goodshepherdcorral.org 
OUTREACH  From I Help, an interfaith overnight program for the homeless, to Habitat for Humanity, this team organizes our efforts to care for the least and the lost.  Chair is Mary Challis.  Contact: Mary through office@goodshepherdcorral.org
